Cleaning and Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your Eclipse 500 earphones, we recommend following these cleaning and maintenance guidelines:

Routine Care

  • Inspect regularly: Check the sound outlet for any signs of earwax or debris. If you experience reduced sound quality, lower output volume, or imbalance between the left and right sides, this is the first area to inspect.

  • Foam tip removal: If cleaning is required, gently remove the foam tip and unscrew the output nozzle to clear any blockages. Do not attempt to clean by spraying, rinsing, or submerging the earphones in water.

  • Faceplate cleaning: Wipe the outer faceplate gently using a dry, lint-free or microfiber cloth to remove dust, smudges, or fingerprints.

Hygiene and Tip Replacement

  • Replace foam tips regularly to minimise wax build-up and reduce the risk of ear infections. Replacement tip packs (available in Small, Medium, and Large) can be purchased at: acscustom.com/uk/accessories

Handling and Environmental Precautions

  • Avoid exposure to water — The Eclipse 500 is not waterproof. Keep earphones dry at all times.

  • Do not expose to extreme temperatures as this can damage the internal components and degrade materials over time.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the earphones beyond changing the faceplate or output nozzle. Doing so will void your warranty and may result in product failure.

By following these simple steps, you’ll maintain your Eclipse 500 in-ear monitors in top condition—ensuring the best sound quality, hygiene, and product longevity.
